We remain confident in the providence of the Lord in the task of bringing the Jewish people back home from the land of the North. Up to now He has guided us and we know that He again will release the necessary funds to fulfil all necessary economic needs.
Right now, however, I’m going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints, because the believers in Macedonia and Achaia have been eager to share their resources with the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. Yes, they were eager to do this, and in fact they are obligated to help them, for if the gentiles have shared in their spiritual blessings, they are obligated to be of service to them in material things. – Romans 15:25-27
Then the righteous will say to him, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you something to eat, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you as a stranger and welcome you, or see you naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison, and visit you?”
